I am a grandmother at this point, and never had twins, but what you say is right on! No one cares what your house looks like, what you look like, and people truly WANT to help you out. Just three weeks in you have so much wisdom. My hat is off to you, Katelyn!

Hang in there. I can so relate. Specially to the being proud on being independent and self sufficient… bye bye pride!

As a twin mom myself, I agree with everything you said. We struggled with the schedule as well. One baby ended up colicky at start of 2 months and my husband and I were feeding every hour on the hour.....sleep was very rare but yes it does get better but soak all of it in while they are little cause they grow so so fast. Mine are now teenagers and I do miss those early days even as tough as some of them were!!

Hopefully dad is there to help with the house tidying and chores while you have the babies :)

Congrats... And bon courage... As a fellow twin mom... I can understand.. It's very difficult. But keeping the schedule will eventually works.. Timing is the key... You have to feed them same time.. Make them sleep same time... U ll get there

Practical and true. This is why parent leave is a thing. Babies, especially newborns need a village!!! Take the help! Get a nap and look after babies thats what you all need
