Hey Neil, honoured to meet you at the GC 30. As I said to you, I'm only been back running a handful of months after a 20 year lay off. Completed the 7.5 k Made me happy. However, everyone that follows you needs to know, this almost 63years old, would not be back at it if it wasn't for you and your videos. Your enjoyment of running, your honesty about your training and your straight up advice has seen a real life change for me. Thank you to you and this community you have created. Cheers

Hi Craig, thanks for coming up and saying g'day. It's so good you are back running after such a long break and I appreciate you saying I played a small part in that. Just keep getting out the door, mate and enjoy what you've doing. Hope to see you again at another event soon.

Really enjoying this series to the GC HM format, Neil. Some great lessons from each vlog so far. I've been both an afternoon and a morning runner, perhaps it's all about a routine you end up settling into? Saying that, it's also worth shaking things up every now and then, running at a different time to the normal schedule.

Thanks for sharing Bartek. It also helps to run at the same time your event is being held. A lot of afternoon runners get caught out when they have to line up for a 6am start and their body is just not ready for it.👍

Even 5:45/km for 10km would be great for your recovery run given your pacing 1:33-1:34 hm etc. Good you slowed it down by the end. Welldone for trying to slow done. I love the pm early eve runs also. Depends on work though as I labour. Its great youre listening to your body. 🎉

Cheers mate, that's one of my biggest problems is that I run my recovery runs too quick. Trying to do better.
