What gear did you use? Backpack, cameras, etc? I'm going in May with a Biology class. Going to hit the ground running for wildlife observations.

Great video of an amazing country! I did the ATM Cave in February, 2022 but didn't stay in San Ignacio. I definitely want to spend some time in San Ignacio and go to Xunantunich, and I didn't know there was a cynote nearby so I will have to check that out. And ATM was an amazing experience. I think it's smart for them to not allow phones and cameras, you really need to be paying attention to the surroundings.

Hi Chris , thank you for the information. From San Ignacio to Xunantunich are the roads in good shape, is a 4x4 needed? Is there someone at Xunantunich that can be hire to give us the history on the pyramids?

The roads are in good shape. No need for a 4x4. Yes lord of people hire a guide to walk you through and explain more of the history. Hope that helps and thank you for watching the video
