Very detailed build video, thanks for showing us your experience! I'm disappointment you cant setup the motor as anti-torque(4-gear) with the belt-drive, I really wanted to enjoy that silky smooth throttle feel. Definitely recommend 4gear if you get the chance also the diff setup killed me lol just send it brother 🤘

Belt drive is so cool. Can you tell me the parts needed for the build? I have a shark

I believe its just the belt drive kit that you need from super-g. It should have all the parts in it👍🏼

So I been following your rhino journey and I just picked up the hydra chassis to start from scratch which chassis should I start with rd2.0 or the 1.0 or is there another base option? I’m currently running the sd2.0 and I don’t want to touch it I would like to start a new build

Thats awesome man and a solid plan to not touch the 2.0 so you can keep driving it If your staring from scratch with just the hydra you could go a could different routes. I actually have two shark builds. One is my girlfriends, and its completely rd1.0 and runs really well. I wouldnt spend more than you have because you end up not using 80% of the kit. All youll use are the arms front and back, plus the transmission and turnbuckles from it all. Its really the only base option and a decent way to build the shark for cheaper. All I have really changed on my comp build are the transmission from the gear diff to a CLSD. I'm currently working on some testing on the difference but I love it in my car. I have also changed the front arms and knuckles to the Rhino racing arms and that made a big difference but that was very recent. I also dont know how I feel about the belt drive yet, it need more testing too. If you have any other question let me know!

@@SeanLewisMedia so what your saying is I should just go ahead n just buy my bits piece by piece? So far I see the full arms and knuckles kit for about $400 and then the direct steer kit outside of that I would need at least a stock transmission ?

So the best way to do it since you have the chassis is to get the Direct Drive Steering System(DDSS) separately in whatever color you want, and the Shark Transmission separately in what ever color you want to match, you will also need the shark battery mounts to have pretty much the full shark chassis. Thats almost a full chassis minus the rd1.0 parts such as arms, drive shafts, transmission and internal gear you need. You would only get the knuckles if you were planning on skipping the RD1.0 base kit to build off, and knew all the extra parts you need. Thats more of a upgrade kit to people who have a base yokomo shark build.

@@SeanLewisMedia appreciate it now to find a kit or 1 used to break down unless you have what I need at a reasonable price n we can deal with it directly

@@dramaboi10200 I dont have anything unfortunately its all still being used in my cars. Looking used would definitely work as long as its not to beat up. My personal shark started as a yd2 rtr originally so it really can start small👍🏼
