This story is about a successful climb onto the summit of the highest peak of the Altay Mountains - Belukha mountain, Siberia, Russia.
I wasn’t intended to make a short 2 min advertising video. So this film is quite long - about an hour or so. And I really hope that you will find time to let me walk you through the spots of unbelievable beauty of the queen of Altay mountain right in the heart of Siberia. So please watch this documentary from start to finish. A high volume of speakers is recommended too.
During the hour of watching you will experience the trip that normally took about 2 weeks. And it took about a year of my time to finish this film. I can’t say that all this year I was sitting under my laptop editing. My goal was not only to show you the beauty of those places but also to share the feelings and emotional experience that was inside me on the way to the summit and after I get there. And I think this part took the most time of this project.
I must say that I was really lucky to get there at this moment of time with these particular teammates and guides. Everything matched perfectly and we were able to reach the top of the Belukha mountain.
All that you see in this movie is true. I wasn’t trying to cut the tough corners of the story and wasn’t intended to make it scarier than it really was. Sure, it’s harder for some people and more comfortable for another.
This film was made in collaboration with Extreme Time. If you seeking a reliable partner for traveling Russia, I recommend those guys. WWW.EXTREMETIME.RU
Short disclaimer: I wasn’t paid by anyone to make this film. All the recommendations are my real subjective opinion. This project is purely uncommercial.
