Every time I think I am getting close to nailing this song on guitar I come and watch again only to realize even further that you just cannot teach this level of timing and precision. Still glad to be here though. That part at 4:03, no matter how often I try or practice I cannot get it to sound anything as remotely good, nor does it feel as comfortable and effortless as he makes it look.
@jayzelleboyce7277
4 жыл бұрын
@@dudemanismadcool well now is the time to keep at it :) whenever I'm learning his songs it's like the moment that I relax and stop "trying so hard to hit every note" and focus more on the feeling, suddenly it's like the guitar gods bestow upon me precision and timing and I hit the nail on the head. Takes a lot of practice and it's easier said than done but its what works for me from songs like this one to "under the same sun" :)
@dudemanismadcool

@@jayzelleboyce7277 Thanks for the positive words! I will keep at it and take heed of your advice. I do know what you mean in regards to focusing on the feeling, it is the only way I can play 'depth over distance' convincingly... just letting it rip and putting everything into it.
