I saw the 1959 one. almost a thousand times. 3 and half hrs. I saw this one, it was awesome. this is 2016 the fist was in the 20's second one was wit Charlton Heston 1959. Even though they are different. There are still pieces that are the same. The 2016 one was great. Watch the 59 one yes its long but it's good. 59 one is about revenge this one is about love, hope, and forgiveness.

Everyone's comparing this to the classic 1959 Ben-Hur film with Charlton Heston, which makes sense since it's amazing, but the Heston Ben-Hur was not the original. It's the 5th (iirc) film adaptation of the Ben-Hur novel, but it stands as the best. If anything, the Heston Ben-Hur is proof that a remake can be amazing. We don't have to remake these stories, but knowing that the classic Ben-Hur was a remake makes you wonder about how great a modern remake of any story could be if the right talent, passion, and resources are put into them. All these recent remake films make me sad because I know remakes can be great, but not enough effort is being put into making them great.

I'll be honest, I go see movies quite frequently, at least twice a month and sometimes more if there are more interesting movies coming out, and I had NO idea this movie was coming out, ZERO, NONE. Even if you missed the poster at the theater, there are trailers & commercials before the movie starts, and even then I didn't see one single trailer or mention of it not even once for the last few months. So I guess it is pretty normal that it is crashing when literally nobody in the whole fucking world is aware of this movie.

Had some embarrassing liked videos on that, and I mean hundreds so it's no biggie. I did however have like 400 subscriptions so idk who I need to sub to...) but I'm just to shy. Maybe streaming is the way to do it. I don't like hearing myself when editing. It's THE WORST. Anyways, hope you're doing good now it seems so, I mean you're back to your absolutely hilarious self, so I'm happy for ya.
