I'm sorry to say I literally don't see anything happen. This may be because the video is running at 1080p30, so the frame time is 33.33~ milliseconds. It will require a non-zero amount of video editing but you should be able to get slow motion footage from most smartphones these days, at a reduced resolution. As far as I understand you, this problem is not special to V4 and V5, that's just where the Service Disconnect is factually located. Could you perform the test again on a different pair, or would you need a new board for it to be electrically identical?

I actually repeated the same test QTY3 total times (I replaced the resistors after each test). Unfortunately, even at 960 frames per second, I still wasn't able to capture the arc flash... it happens so fast due to the massive overheating event. Search priuschat.com for the "Project Lithium Soother Test" for more information, including one test I performed at 960 fps (that still didn't capture the spark).

In regards to swapping other elements over to V4 & V5, see the thread I mentioned in my previous reply. Note that it would be better to start with a new Signal Soother for each test, but I don't have access to more than the single board I acquired from an anonymous contributor. As I explained in the video, you are correct that the issue occurs at V4 & V5 because that's where the service disconnect is on the Gen3 Prius.
