Btw. The more active “reviewing” of the knife is really cool. I enjoyed seeing the knife in use. Definitely upped the entertainment value of the review as well. Cheers mate!

Glad i checked this older video of yours. Since we are on Finn theme here i could recommend one blade to try when going camping/bushcrafting and its Terävä Skrama. I trust that thing with my life and it doesnt break the wallet either, varusteleka sells and ships them to USA.

I’ve been interested in that knife for a while. Thanks for reviewing it. Seems awesome. Good grind. I’d be curious to see how it compares to my Bradford 3.5. Not a perfect comparison as the Benchmade is much larger but would be interesting nonetheless. Usually when it comes to tasks a larger knife is well suited for, I prefer to grab a hatchet or a machete. But then again I like to be prepared and would be unlikely to go somewhere I might need them without bringing them with me.

Flitz metal polish is good stuff if you decide to polish it up. I was tempted to grab one myself, but I already have 10 bushcraft type knives. Bark Rivers, LT Wright, Mora's, etc. I really don't need another one..but then again..having enough has never stopped me from buying another knife in the past, so who knows. One could still find it's way into the collection.

@@beardedgear yeah..funny how we just keep on buying knife after knife isn't it? I have more than I can possibly use, yet we still keep looking for that perfect knife that will beat all others, and can never be topped. The one that means we never have to buy another one, which doesn't exist of course, but it sure is fun looking for it isn't it? LOL Wallet destroying hobby, and so damn addicting. I guess it beats being addicted to drugs, but not all that much cheaper, lol.

Think about getting a pukkoo 200. Leuku is illegal to carry where i live.. Now I watch a tons of reviews and some say nah and some say yay. Heard they changed the ht on newer models but I don't know all to much about that. I feel confused atm 😅

Aaand update... Got another one weeks ago and its fine even when the grind on the tip is little weird. Carved some wood with it and like how it feels plus after a day of feathersticking and carving it still pops hair. Very impressed by my first 3v knife. But I wish they would have molded the gripp so it closes on the blade cause I think moisture will get in there and corrode. A nice good weather knife! I like it!

Hey how’s yours held up I saw another guy say the 3v was soft I know benchmade has did that before on another folder but they supposed to have fixed it now. So I’m figuring after a month you should have sharpened by now. Or if you haven’t had to even better but I was thinking about giving this a go. Or should I spend $40 bucks an get a coldsteel srk . Really it’s the 3v that I’m interested in. Cool video you really covered everything but sharpening really says it all. I mean you really sold me on it. I’m trying to by American . I was turned off to benchmade because of prices but this one is very reasonable for what it is.

Love this style knife. However, despite the handle being excellent on the benchmade, if I were to buy a Leku I would probably opt for a traditional finnish design with a more attractive look. Helle makes a really nice one as well. But I am kind of a sucker for looks with my knives as silly as it might be.
@P.Subaeruginosa
2 жыл бұрын
Personally I think this handle is better, the traditional ones kind of have a factor of if someone asks to use it you have to say no because they're going to slip and cut their hands open because they don't know how to use it whereas the benchmade is very grippy
