Good info on those RJ-45 jacks. Thank you. I did have a comment on the lift operation as shown in the video. When lifting vehicles, the lift should always be let down onto the locks soon as the desired height is reached. The load should not be on the cables/hydraulics except while raising or lowering the vehicle. I have seen several videos on KZitem where people walk away from the power unit while the load is on the cables. This is a bad habit.

Good advice from CoreTechTV...very important. Also, a small point but, minor adjustments of the ladders will get the uplock 'clicks' synchronized to one loud 'CLICK".

You will, in actual fact, *never* have simultaneous clack. If synchronized empty, adding a car will cause the cables to stretch. The cables stretch at the same rate but the different lengths means each cable stretches a different amount. Loss of synchronization under loads is the result.

In the FAQ section of the Bendpak 4-post lift assembly instructions is stated that the posts MUST be anchored when using the sliding bridge jacks. Just thought that info should be out there.

After a few years of use, would you still recommend this product? I’m considering purchasing this item

They are incredibly expensive, but we use them for every build we do. I say yes, worth the investment.

I know this is a old video, but I have a question. I can’t find any videos on YT showing a HD9XW lifting a truck. Does this model lift a 1/2 or 3/4 ton truck ok? Also curious if the rolling jacks handle a 1/2 or 3/4 ton truck well? Thanks for your time, and your helpful videos.

From what I can see, you are able to shift both runway more on the right (and I guess on the left too). You are not forced to centre them?

I'm assuming that these bridge jacks allow you to adjust the width of the lift ramps without removal?
@WorkshopAddict

They do allow for adjusting while in place, but they make it much harder. We leave ours in the widest position and it has worked for every car we have had up there in our business.

Bendpak specs a 10 CFM compressor for this bridge jack. Were you using a compressor with that air output? Can a compressor with lower CFM be used? I'd rather not get a monster compressor if I don't have to.

Jay Parnes I have a 23 cfm compressor and a 5 cfm compressor in the shop. The only difference between them with the Jack's is the speed they will jack up a heavy load. You will be fine with a small compressor if you are not wanting the Jack's to move super fast.

can a low vehicle, like the grand sport from the other video clear these?

The Grand Sport has no issue. Our ZL1 and Z06 are good also along with a lowered Mustang GT. We move them to the front of the lift while driving on to make it easier.

Don't understand why you have to get your hand under the vehicle to operate the jack
@WorkshopAddict

Sektor255 And sometimes more than just your hand depending on how high the lift is.. Could have been designed better. Both hands have to be under it when going down as you have to lift the safety.

@@WorkshopAddict The track jack controls should always face the outside of lift - in other words the front jack controls should face forward the rear jack controls should face the rear. Why? Whenever possible the operator should be on the outside of the lift to operate the controls, rather than underneath. It allows for fast egress if needed. I understand that it can be a real pain in the butt working over the front crossbeam. Placing the rear jack is no less of a hassle depending on the length of the vehicle. I'm sure there are plenty of techs that will disagree with me but the reality most reputable lift companies design the jacks to be controlled from outside of the lift. Basically your lift or jack isn't in a "safe" position until it is secured on the load holding devices (locks). I also noted you were lifting on the factory lift positions ahead of the diff rather than on the diff itself. This might work, but your jack doesn't have enough lift stroke to take up all the suspension travel to get the rear tires well clear of the runway. Plus, positioning the jack ahead makes that poor little air motor work its guts out... Sometimes lift manufacturers are a little ambitious on their capacity ratings....Just my 2 cents. Anyway I enjoyed watching the vid.

I have a Bendpak lift, ok , except the hydraulic hoses are garbage. Every one of the hoses deteriorated and flooded my garage with fluid. When i reported this to Bendpak and asked for compensation for the costs of new hoses or replacements they were completely unhelpful. I would never buy another Bendpak product.

and now on to concrete tires video -- in my new house I will have this - so i would never go to rip off shops EVER AGAIN .. charging over $100 per hour, and letting a rookie who gets paid shop minimum of $9 /hr to work on your car..I mean Fkk it up ! and waste your time too

Watched the video before and after heavy amounts of Maker's Mark Bourbon, I still don't see the miracle of lift. Everyone commented on the words, no one on the video. At 9:24 the picture says they do not work, one side up other still down. The RJ noodle is Bend. No wonder Trump is President 45, all listening to the words say he is working for us, I don't see it. My BendPak has no 45s now or ever. Better off with a set of QuickJacks (BendPak, you are welcome)

What about the rj -45 for an f350 that weighs 6200 lbs....Do they make a heavier duty rj for your 4 post lift? I don't think so. I think the rj-45 would struggle. Those extensions looked a little bendy.

I had zero issue using those with our F350. The arms have some movement due to the slack in the system that allows them to slide. I understand your statement fully and felt similar to your feelings when we first installed them in 2014, but now feel very confident in them 7 years later.
