I used to drive those for the Toronto Transit system. Much easier to drive because of the shorter front section wheel base. I agree. I understand keeping the bus benches as a bit of authenticity, but with so much detail to a large kitchen for gatherings, I would also make the living area more comfortable to spend evenings relaxing on a comfy sofa. I'd also make an additional sitting area over the opposite wheel well. I'm amazed at the kitchen and that you can carry enough water to operate a dishwasher! The office and bedroom are incredible as well, so I also personally felt the living area was neglected.

This is a really cool conversion, not only in the aesthetics but also in the function. It feels like it was designed for living and not for travel, which is an interesting departure from most coaches, and really shows a different design path which really worked out. I also really like the windows, while you have to open them to have a massive view, it looks like you can see out of them while standing and they let a lot of light in while keeping your privacy. I also really like the bed placement, and that you did a full, king size bed. You really got the light and airy design down, and it still feels very functional. Very nicely done! :-)

That bus is a work of art. I’m wanting to buy a bus and do all the work but I’m currently remodeling a house right now but the time will come! And I’ve watched 1000s of videos on tiny homes, campers, and buses and this one is by far the best one I have seen. I have a child so I would add a little room for him probably where some of the seats are and the cupboards are. But anything can be changed people!!!! Remember that!!! He had a vision and he made it look like his vision. Nothing is permanent in life. Why do people have to be so negative? But anyways great job man!!! Super cool vehicle. Gotta say though all those windows that you can see precisely nothing out of, especially when sitting down, are pretty silly. Might as well be in a random flat in anywhere-ville at that point.

I’m currently looking into getting into the dispensary business and I would love to convert one of these into a Traveling dispensary. Make it hella cozy and have a “smokers room” in the back for us to “test” the products and just chill in I would probably make a few spots a sun roof but this is so cool.

Nice way to put new life into an old Volvo (the most fun I ever had on a bus was riding in the seat just behind the turntable of an ex-Adelaide Volvo B58 Brown Bomber artic down the rather hilly/bumpy west coast drive in Perth to Hillarys Boat Harbor and seeing this video reminds me of how much fun I had that day)

Most of the retired city buses in the US are so worn out you would not want one, like the police cars at an auction.. IMO one of the double deck buses like they use in Las Vegas would be an interesting conversion project.. You would have to know what to look for in the way of engine and transmission health before buying one of these from an auction though unless you have the money to buy a brand new one with no interior lol
