On April 10, 2021 during the Bengal Assembly election fourth phase, five people were killed on the polling day. While four were shot dead by CISF Central forces inside the polling booth, another first time voter was killed in political violence outside a different booth. Three years later, another election is now knocking their doors. The cry for justice continues and people fear if they have been betrayed. Four families whose loved ones were killed by CISF had moved to court demanding compensation from Election Commission. "Forget compensation, we haven't even received any condolence message either from Election Commission or the CISF. It happened on the election day and inside the booth, firing done by central forces. It is the responsibility of election commission", said the victim families. NTT visits five families, all call themselves the "victims of election".
