@@mrtn6203 not really, up to this moment he's killed subordinates for stuff a crime boss would kill for, stealing from him, ignoring his orders and depend on the crime boss interrupting him but killing them for something that would have taken literally the same amount of time it took cotton mouth to shoot him why his idea wouldn't work: because cage is not looking for turf to control so they can't make a truce

It’s got more to do with Pride and less with gangsta. Business is business had he moved to the side but being a gangsta is being lead by yo Ego; small percentage win with that attitude. Cotton mouth was all about the Thrown 👑 and you don’t tell the thrown holder where to relocate the thrown.

True but it wasn't without it's flaws. Killing Cottonmouth halfway through the first season was a huge mistake. The series never really found a villian to replace him who was as compelling

i read it but it did´nt impress me at all so i forgot the name. read the article "Benign Neglect' on Race Is Proposed by Moynihan" on NYtimes and you will find out the basic idea. This guy told the president of the US to forget about the black areas on major cities and let they live on their own because that would be better to both the blacks and the white politics.

Mr. Black Just because he got shot by Cottonmouth does not mean what he suggested was bad to begin with. Did you even watch this episode, let alone the show? They shook down the streets harder than before, provoking and forcing Luke Cage to come from “his side of the street”.
