I remember finding a 78 rpm record of Benny Goodman's 'Sing, Sing, Sing' at an antiques barn for only $2 many years ago and it was in such great shape and plays well to this day. While listening to Benny Goodman's 'Sing, Sing, Sing' or to Glenn Miller's 'In The Mood', it's impossible to not tap one's foot to those two timeless swing hits that capture that era perfectly. :)

That’s a good question! I would say no! Did you by chance get the 12 inch version of Sing Sing sing?

@@Recordology Yes, I found the 12-inch 78 rpm version of 'Sing, Sing, Sing' which has the tune divided on two sides between Gene Krupa's drum solo portion which fades out on side 1 and fades back in on side 2. A few months after finding this record at an antiques barn, I found a second copy at a local antiques mall also for only $2, but sadly, it has an odd warp for some reason (really odd for a 78), but still manages to play well. Still, it was lucky to find two copies. :)

I love Benny Goodman's music and particularly when he had Peggy Lee singing for him. Some of the best tunes they did together are 'Why Don't You Do Right?' which Peggy also performed with her husband, Dave Barbour, and his orchestra (but the Benny Goodman version is better in my opinion even though both versions are terrific) and the song was revived in 1988 when it was performed by Amy Irving for 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?'. 'How Deep Is The Ocean?' and 'Elmer's Tune' were two other great Benny Goodman/Peggy Lee tunes. :)
