So much wisdom. I wonder if everyone can process this stuff or they just hear the words. This is gold!

Sensei I love your teaching I was at a dojo years ago all they taught what's to beat up on each other no explanation up dealing with fear it was like throwing somebody in deep water and just telling them how to swim

Inspirational stuff - there are people who grew up insecure (sometimes because of broken homes, missing/deadbeat parents, childhood trauma) who are now seeking to reinvent themselves without support from their family.

Great to listen to him. You can apply his advice to any part of your life even if you don't practice martial arts.

I have been angry at myself for years about the fear I had of getting in the ring. I was in the Navy.. and got on the boxing team...actually, forced to by the base Captain, for getting into so many fight at the white hat club, Friends from the barracks came to watch me spar.. I froze most of the time.. not sure what to do.. even though I looked like a world beater on the heavy bag or shadow boxing... Or in a fight ... a buddy said to me... "You look better in a real fight.." Then the worse happened... On a fight night I was scheduled for my first fight in front of a crowd of sailors ... I played sick... actually I was sick with fear... and I never backed down from a real fight in my life.. I had speed, power, and good moves... but terrified to get in the ring.. I wish I had Benny as my trainer back then... He is the only one I have ever heard talk about this. I feel better about myself just from watching this video... Thanks Benny... but at 76, it's a little late for my comeback...Oh.. here's me on the heavy bag at age 54.. kzitem.info/news/bejne/2pdvlml_ppGjmW0 introduced boxercise in St. Louis YMCA.. my only claim to glory.. oh, If I could go back with a new mindset... If you have ring fear and your still young...GET OVER IT!

Great spirit about THE JET ! As some friends of mine say, kick boxing/martial arts, where friends enjoy kicking and punching each other in the face.
