Hey everyone! I know you system builders and budget buyers see these motherboards with bent pins for sale on ebay/amazon or wherever else. I wanted to try my hand at fixing it to see if it was worth it to buy one, getting an entry level z97 board for less than 20 bucks was too good to pass up!
This is the first of two videos; in this video I am going to go through the process of trying to fix bent pins on a motherboard. This is different than fixing completely broken pins; that process is a little out of my league (for now!). I will then hook this sucker up with my cheapest components on hand and hope that it doesn't start to smoke! At the end of the video I give my thoughts on the process and what boards and prices I think will be worth it, as well as the tool I used.
