Excellent repair. Very informational. Especially the part where the light is our silent partner. I love that! Also I heard you mention that you are redoing denttrainer to make it more user friendly. I appreciate that. I’ve been with you for many years and personally I enjoyed the way it was set up originally. When I 1st clicked on it would show the most recent video followed by all the previous. I found that super easy to navigate. Just my thoughts 💭

No doubt a great PDR from an old body man, now I have seen a few pdr repairs never paid attantion to the lights, now I understand what the stripes in the light are for!

Almost 55 minutes to glue pool 2 dents as profesional. I guess me as a beginner I should be very happy for spending 15 hours on 52 dents from pillars A+C and rail. Thank you for sharing so much knowledge 🙏.

Thanks! However it would’ve been a lot faster and probably half the time if I wasn’t filming live and didn’t get interrupted 15 silent times. But that is the real life story of Pdr. I always say especially to clients… Don’t confuse Small with easy. 😉

Absolutely true, small isn't always easy, it can be absolutely nerve stretching sometimes. Thank you 😊

I think the lines are way better than fog

So, I have noticed before you “soften the crowns” to alleviate stress/tension. Does this make it better/even pulls? On the crease, It looks like you are widening slightly to make it more of a dent versus a crease? You are definitely a MASTER of your art.

Roll the back quarter panel window down. I think you have access there. Laminated glass and tight fit but you can make it work.
@denttime
2 жыл бұрын
Nope. That won’t work. Too tight and laminated glass is too fragile. Client wasn’t willing to risk the glass breaking with pressure. Not willing to pay $500 to remove the panels.

Those reaper hex tabs pull like crazy!!! Wish they made one size bigger than the 14mm. They break... money well spent in my book. Buy another pack and write them off lol

You mentioned you let the customer know you are glue pulling, do you make the customer sign a waiver not making you responsible if you pull paint??
@denttime
Жыл бұрын
100%. The waiver is on DentTrainer.com as well

Hey thanks does it matter what light you use as a beginner or would it be better with a multiple light
@denttime

I’d try both to see what you like. A good reflection is a cross trainer light that has both lines and fog.
