Cyberscape presents a surreal history of the evolution of human life and thought. A fast-paced trip that rockets the viewer from the Garden of Eden to Quantum Mechanics, through human obsession with time, money, and the opposite sex. The total running time is 45:00 min.
Modern technological society has paid a high price for its achievements. These have led to an existence devoid of spirituality and moral values. Tchaicovsky’s 3D work confronts us with our existentialist desolation and increased fragmentation. Human heads are replaced with television boxes; synthetic worlds devoid of nature are depicted, man, machines, and the universe.
In his CGI works, Tchaicovsky takes the viewer on a tour-de-force of images, symbols, and personal mythology, depicting the controversial direction society is taking.
Tchaicovsky was not a pessimist. He shares his hopes and his rich inner world in an attempt to reconnect the viewer with the cosmos and its mysteries and remind us all of the need for self-exploration (self-inquiry). In his CGI phase, Tchaicovsky incorporates his previous work of acrylic on canvas, often referencing his two-dimensional paintings in his 3D creations. His move to digital media(CGI imagery) was a conscious expansion of his expression from 2D to 3D and 4D - the dimension of time in animation form.
