Hi i have a nice pair of Beovox S55 and i have proceed to a big upgrade. I have change the woofer too and changing for nice new sonic caps and new resistors. It sound amazing exept for low end. Then i have put some good supports inside the box to tight this too thin box. After this i have add a passive 8 in on the back and i calibrate it. The result is just crazy !!! The staging is amazing low and highend are out of mind realy ! I never saw better then this with compare to more then 6000$ speakers. One of my audiophile freind say "what is this" 🥰💃

there is only one crossover point between woofer and tweeter , second order xover with one speaker out of phase - this system is called uniphase . s. third speaker , this midrange dome is called phase connect and its job is simple , fill the gap betwen woofer and tweeter , because there is phase related cancelation . First learn a little bit then make repair ;)

Excellent videos, thanks. I wonder if you can help me with my project; M120.2s that look like an identical design I want to refoam (woofers seem good). Have disassembled the cabs, but there is a plastic type of gasket attached to the front of the driver I can't for the life of me figure out to remove! Do you have any idea or technique for how to remove it? Many thanks!

@@haycrossaudio5474 thanks very much but actually managed to get it off! The secret was to remove as much of the old disintegrating foam as possible, then just use a bit of gentle violence working the ring off with a flatheaded screwdriver! might come back if I have any problems putting it all back together again! Again many thanks
