The reason why berbatov is great is also why he is underrated. People say he never ran but he knew the ball was faster than legs and he just needed to up his positioning and understanding of his team. Fantastic player who made the game look easy. I’m a Liverpool fan.

Berba was masterfull but Dennis and Zidane had a better touch. I saw Zidane making a dribbling and change of direction with his heel directly from his 1st touch IN ACTION, while running after he received a long pass. Bergkamp's goal against Newcastle is the best 1st touch moment I ever saw and strange enough it was never replicated by anyone

The not sprinting into the box thing is more valuable advice than people think. If you sprint a defender will more than likely mark you immediately. Wingers are great at holding up the ball so timing your attack to arrive late and more than likely unmarked is a great way to score a lot of goals especially from midfield

This is what a lot of play lack, the ability to read the game. You'll see players really overcomplicating things and trying too hard. While the best players always keep it simple. Pass, move, get the ball back and score. While refining the basics like a first touch. Having a great first touch alone can seperate a players from being decent or good.
