Holy crap, I remember this. Never knew they made a movie about it. My grandfather lived In Carthage on Browning Street close to the High School and Panola College. He lived there for over 30 years. Moved there in Early 80's after selling his lake house on Lake Murvall. I was in Carthage when this went down and they arested Bernie. The Funeral home he worked at was same one that had my grandfather and grandmother's funeral was held.

David Farmer I doubt it after watching this & seeing the ending, you feel a bond , Jack Black does a superb job . To cheer up watch blessed assurance by Jack Black or you tube oh happy days sister act . Keep smilin not cryin 😊🙏🏼🤧

@@stefan1713 Yes! I didn't know this was a true story on my first watch so i was shocked when i saw Mrs. Nugent's grave. And when they pan from Tiede to Black, an aura of deep respect came over me. Partly because he'd go so far to do his homework and also how focused he looked.

I kept hearing / thinking it was a orchestra version of simon and garfunkel song American Tune. Ill have to listen the o sacred head now wounded and see if i still hear it.
