▼ IMPORTANT ▼ In this video we will see a solved example of the Bessel differential equation, of order 1/2, applying the Frobenius method, solving the index equation, obtaining the case in which the difference of the roots is a whole number, and obtaining 2 Frobenius series solutions, all explained step by step. In the end we use Taylor series (Maclaurin) to give the solution in closed form in terms of sine, cosine and square root.
