Mountain Warehouse extreme expedition 33l rucksack. Nothing fancy but I am quite happy with the layout, bladder system, hard foam back without the need for internal frame and overall comfort.

@christianirl not fully baked... 2 weeks in March. Tokyo for week 1...w a day in Yokohama. then a few days in Osaka with some of the day trips you shared. few days unstructured and up in air

ironically I booked the exact same hotel that you recommended in Osaka. But then after listening to your video, I'm wondering whether I shouldn't have booked a hotel in the Dotonburi (?) district because it seems a lot more active and fun. I'll do a little more research I like high energy places, but I also like the access to the bullet train like you suggested.
