The cool thing about intrapreneurship is you don't need to spend years saving money to invest in an idea, your employer gives you the money for that. Also you're not alone as you have someone to supervise your progress and keep you on track.

This is why I am pretty addicted to Valuetainment. Today's topic is so powerful for youth and graduates who are stuck and unemployed in countries where the unemployment rate is high and resources to start a business is low. I have had this discussion within my circles or youth development. Sharing this one most deffinately. @PatrickBetDavid and @Valuetainment thank you for great content you share so unselfishly. #TheGlobalConnector🇿🇦🌍

/Intrapreneurship/: "It's not just about seeing the connections and opportunities, it is also the act of weaving possibilities together to create something new and exciting." - Dylan Sherlock! Thank you for all these advice! Such a motivating video! If we're not entrepreneurs, we could probably be intrapreneurs! :D Maybe you guys might have seen me on other videos but anytime I write a comment, I always tell my story with it so people know why I am saying what I am saying :) - also to keep inspiring other people because for me, reading other people's success journey is so motivating. :) We own a cookie shop business in our college town. When we first started it, we were living in our car with very little direction, just a huge passion to be successful. We just graduated college as well. We started a cookie shop out of a local bagel shop in their off hours at night. We were living in our car in the parking lot of the shop at the time with my boyfriend, Bran. It was a crazy experience but it worked! We became a success! And how we have our first storefront location (a second launching soon!) We started it to fund a year long backpacking trip around the world and to be successful while living the life of our dreams.

Most of entrepreneurship is a mindset more than a rule that you have to do this one thing. Being an entrepreneur is all about creating something that others need/want. It doesn't matter where you do it or how you do it!

Hi Patrick, and Hi all, I loved this episode and the way you put the Alternative to Entrepreneurship in perspective, I would like to add to this subject something we could take in to consideration regarding the "Intrapreneur". The matter of fact is that the "Intrapreneur" can always choose his environment. And to be more specific, I believe that the best "Entrapreneur" must use all his "Entrapreneur" abilities to build the team he needs. The "Intrapreneur" can always join the best team that needs him. Much love to all.

I've learnt so much about leadership from this channel thankyou Pat. God bless you. You've inspired me to not give up on my dreams even when other people think it's not possible or too lofty to achieve. I was once in a very bad place and it's true that hard work, dedication and persistence is the key to success. I feel like everyone knows this to be true on a subconscious level but aren't prepared to do what it takes to reach it. I am one of those people that loves people more than money. Your video on the 1% and how you can't measure someones heart in regards to Tom Brady resonated with me on a profound level. This is something I have suspected to be true for a while and it's encouraging to know other people think the same thing.

The ultimate wingman for any CEO. "Right behind ya Shepard” So hype! I'm in a weird spot, as I'm a very risk aversive person with a shitty upbringing, essentially noting to fall back to, ye still motivated to become an entrepreneur. But never was a good leader... can rally people for an idea or task... but not really leading the charge, more of a top lieutenant type... and you just made me realise how to make the most of it. This might get me the base capita and skillset to go all out with my wildest visions... or fall in love and stay loyal to a company till the very end.

Thanks for the first video on intrapreneurship Patrick; I've learnt the concept during my university days however I believe a company has to CREATE the environment first for an intrapreneur to be born. Some high-skilled biz execs watching or reading this may have tried multiple times to deliver an entrepreneurial spirit within their workplace, yet are denied greater leverage due to a stringent organisational hierarchy. Without such opportunity within company culture, entrepreneurs are born from being denied intrapreneurship within their 9-5.

I think another alternative of the intrapreneur is when you are working in a company and you get commission on your sales on top of your salary. So you have the motivation to go for more, produce more, and eventually get more back

I’m in the top 5% of my industry in Australia in terms of profit per ha on a regular basis. Here is the scenario. I can’t do it without someone motivating me. Also not just someone a special individual who understands me….

In my experience in Intrapreneurship, access to capital is great, but because your scope of control is limited one is exposed to risks beyond your own judgment. Thus, I recommend considering the political and market risks that you don't have control over before you commit to intrapreneurship. While I wouldn't trade my experience, what I built was exposed to risk by bad choices by others who failed to listen to my warnings about risks.

I have a question, It made me think of the right mindset toward someone's goals. Should it be, I want to do XYZ and I don't care if it will be done by building my own company or working within someone else's company? Or sould it be, I want to make it in my way. Building my own company. I just think that your pation should lead you to the right choice and I want to know what you guys think of it. Thank you for another great one Valuetainment team!

Heads up, there are a lot of companies out there who DONT like intraprenuers, people who want the company to grow and be a part of the growth are almost immediately seen as a threat or someone who is too controlling. Mark Cuban had the same issue when he started working for someone as well. Sometimes you just have to go out and risk it to be an entrepreneur.
