Great video. What i did to keep things simple is add a line to a visible account using the party feature and it can go as low as $25 a month and then i use a personal hotspot router and have Verizon unlimited hotspot. If you need better signal you can then get a cellular repeater.

Hey Izzy, i signed up for this internet plan and it works as described. We used 60 gigs in the first week using it and so far no throttling. We are camping at silver springs near ocala florida and have great speed using our netgear nighthawk. I tried the mofi a couple of months ago and it could never keep up with the netgear, plus it does a 5ghz wifi that mofi cant. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for recommending this internet plan, it works and saves us big$$$$$$.

Wonderful. Glad the video got you to save some cash. We had the exact opposite result going from Netgear to mofi, but both systems will get the job done. If you hook up the external antennae watch those speeds increase even more. Izzy

@@EndlessRVing We finally hit the road next week and I work remotely, so I have to have reliable internet. I signed up for the recommended AT&T service and got the Mofi yesterday, but I am only getting 1-3MBPS! :( I tried working from it today and moved it to a couple different locations and it just wouldn't keep up. I don't have the external antenna yet, didn't think I'd need it in SoCal before we get on the road. I'm downloading the Find Tower app to see if I can try a different location. My question... I'm seeing several people say the Nighthawk is working better for them.... how do I know if I have a bad mofi?

Nan Norsby it depends on your signal strength. You can go into your mofi router and check signal strength. If you are -110 dB or less you should be pretty good with speeds. If not the external antennae does help.

So what about Lightening? I had a similar set up with a omni and a fiberglass paint pole on the ladder of a Fifth wheel we used to have. Wound up unplugging anytime there was a storm around (IF I was at trailer)... I LIKE anything that allows me to upgrade to external antennae... Also for your repeater, why not run a cat 5 from the router to somewhere convenient (closer to one of the other TV's) and connect up your repeater to that? OR to a switch and then that, then connect the TV to cat 5? Better Speed for TV I would expect. Obviously limited by whatever the Tower is gonna give ya. At $34.99 a month this would have been handy for home as well to perhaps cut the cord. I work from home and really dislike having to pay Comcast :-(

Awesome review of your system. I had a mofi for a month, ended up returning it before my 30 return period ended. Must have been defective. (They still have not refunded my money) My netgear nighthawk always outperformed it in speed tests. Still looking for the best router that has an Ethernet port to run a wired system in our fifth wheel. You could run an Ethernet cable from your mofi to your WiFi access point in the rig. The other problem I had with the mofi is that it does not do AC Protocal over 5ghz, only 2.4 ghz. Thx for sharing your experience.

Honestly I don't see how Unlimited could continue to sell plans when the unlimited plans from AT&T are no longer available. When I messaged the company questioning this they blocked me from their facebook page and messenger. I guess that would be Jorge from San Juan. There is a 25gb cap on the $34.99 data plan now. The legitimate companies buy large lots of data from AT&T and re-sell it. They are more like $60 a month and up in price. It doesn't pass the smell test.

AT&T may have a good unlimited plan, for cheap, but everything else you used (last yr. prices) was not cheapest equipment used. I didn't watch but first 5 min. into video and viewed your suggested equipment clicked the router of over $650.00, didn't go any further than that. And can't get AT&T carrier in the NM desert area where I'm presently. Only Verizon owned towers that T-Mobile, Straight Talk and down the list other companies that piggy back on Verizon cell towers. If I had couple of grand at hand to go all out with be great...even the Winegard 2.0 set up was under $500 got good reviews. Hope you go back and find RV unlimited internet/cell phone system that works well but has an affordable budget for those that can't afford the higher cost equipment.
