Idk i like doing the work part but i HATE doing sales i suck at it i could do tons of work but never get a single client because my sales pitch sounds like this "hey do you want this product? No? Ok thats fine have a nice day" im not a pushy person im too nice, but im a very hard worker

I mean if the numbers work out their shouldn’t be a problem, like car sales. The salesman makes the customer say yes, then finance handles the rest.

Same here! When they said “Yes” I had an administrative assistant/secretary follow-up and make sure the “I’s” were dotted and the “T’s” were crossed.

This is very normal. Top producers are always teams. You have your social guy, the consultant and the beaver to process the work. Each working at their 20/80.

I work in construction testing and I'm good at doing the manual labor and tests. I am awful at doing the reports. I am not a reports person.

As an installer who routinely gets screwed by "front end" salesmen like that, you ain't that good at selling the actual product just getting signatures

AI will take their jobs soon enough. It gets the details correct, patient with every customer, doesnt ask for a commission check. World will still need installers for a long time.

My company sees it this way too. Keep the sales people selling, not doing BS or looking up part numbers or whatever. Everyone has their strengths.
