The roborock is a great vacuum, but you are not testing the self empty correctly because the roborock will keep cleaning with a full bin dropping stuff everywhere until it returns to dock after cleaning. A true self empty robot will sense a full bin and return to dock to empty this is not the case with roborock so you're testing is flawed.

What navigation issues with the s9 to justify it not to be the top pick due its way superior cleaning performance?

Thank you for your very informative videos. Do you think the added convenience of the auto-empty function is worth the extra cost and worse cleaning performance? Is a full bin really the limiting factor on how long a robot vacume can work independently? Or do factors like a tangeled brush roll warrent interventions anyway?

Can do review of all bagless self emptying robot vacuums? I am looking for one like this and want it to NOT require the use of Wifi or a App to use the vacuum. No camera would be good thing. Lidar would be preferred.

Deciding on a vacuum right now. In my opinion it depends on the floor if It's a wood floor or hybrid floor then get the S7 for the mop feature if it's a carpet get the J7 because that has higher suction.

I got the roomba i3+ for 400 bucks and I couldn't be more thrilled with it. (And there is now smart mapping for the i3 btw)

Have you noticed battery degradation and if batteries can be easily swapped in any of these robo vacs? We have a really old irobot that lasts less than 10min now.

Did you happen to test (or know) which self-emptying base station has the best filtration for those with severe allergies?

I can't say for the others but the S7 station has a proper filter. Also bags as an option, which is great for those with hyper allergies 👍🏻

How about mop robots?

I recommend a high quality mopping robot vacuum like the S6 MaxV or S7 over dedicated mopping robots like the Braava jet m6. I should have at least one video dedicated to mopping robots published within the next few months.
