Crazy at 19 this was the first TB video I watched to catch my first Bass, now I’m 25 with my own boat still getting electronics and fish finding on lake videos from you guys. My only place I go to for tips and a little confidence.

I would love to have seen some fish catching. But I loved the realism of the video. It's good to see a laid back video to show that you guys are just average guys that love to fish and make videos.

Great video! I'd like to see more videos about bank fishing for trophy bass. I fish for northern strain trophy bass and I only fish from the bank. I'd like to see advice on the best lures for trophy bass fishing from the bank in all seasons. If possible advice for fishing in places where sunfish (sometimes baby bass) and crawdads are the main forage because I fish mostly small lakes where bass prey on those forage creatures. I think many people fish small lakes like that from the bank.

I see that you took 4 set ups. Is that because you wanted to showcase the lures you were using or because that is a good number of rods to carry when fishing from the bank? I guess, my question is, what is a good number of rods to carry when fishing from the bank?
@tacticalbassin

3 seems to be the ideal number for bank fishing
@reellifebassfishingalexrey1330

Nopaleromojado yeah from what ive seen i would suggest ATLEAST 2 RODS, 3 Rods is Perfect, you wanna have 2 baitcaster reel/rod setups and have one spinning reel/rod setup, the 2 baitcasters should be 1 MediumHeavy rod for your "all-around" baits, 2nd should be a nice Heavy setup for any flipping/pitching baits and any frogs....then last, your spimning reel for "finesse" fishing (drop-shot, light texas rigged senkos, NedRigs)

How many rods do you recommend to bring when fishing from the shore and what actions?
@tacticalbassin
8 жыл бұрын
+civic30045 I don't like to carry more than 3, its just not comfortable. You want rods that cover the gamut. Perhaps a medium light, medium, and medium heavy.

Hey, you can google map your home and keep expanding, and note every body of water. You might find stuff that's not well known and close. Also the FishBrain app is a good way to fish for local info. Then there's the Delta to Clear Lake. Now there's a topic, "Tips on fishing for a place to fish."
