Ok guys, this seasoning is a staple in almost every caribbean kitchen and it is used to marinate any kind of meats; you can also use it in stews, gravies, soups and I use it in rice as well and it can be preserve in the refrigerator for up to a year. P.S. When blending, you DO NOT WANT TO OVER MIX.

This is amazing. My parents are also Bajan and I remember my dad making his own seasoning as well when I was growing up and it was always delicious. I have an intolerance to ‘garlic’ so what would be a perfect substitute for this ingredient?
@EverythingPaulette
Жыл бұрын
Hello Gail, I am so sorry about your intolerance to garlic, my suggestion would be to use a little granulated garlic powder that way it is less potent but if that is still a problem you can always omit it, it is really about your taste and what you can tolerate. Thanks so much for watching my video, I truly appreciate it and hope to see you again; have a blessed day. Xo

Lol, looks like you are discovering some of my outlets, heeheee; the bottle seasonings are good but you know fresh is always better. At least you watched the video and liking the videos are very important, that makes the videos popular and go viral. I find that I have a lot of the English folk tuning in. I think I have more Canadian and English watchers and I love it. Have a blessed day my dear, I have so much to do. I am working right now on my Sorrel and black cake. I will be uploading the Sorrel and Apple Dumplings on Sunday, not sure if i.m going to put them up the same day, may schedule one for Monday instead of both on Sunday then the black cake will be up the following weekend; I will be making a half pound instead of a pound of everything. Don't need all that cake hanging around. Xoxo

This exact Bunch that she's doing I would use this green seasoning for fish that is exactly the ingredients for green seasoning that you would want to use for Fishel Park you have lemon you have the pepper you have the garlic and the onion those type of things is what we use for the fish now the basic green seasoning is without those things the onions make green seasoning why fast because it holds a lot of water cuz when you blend onions and garlic it's very liquidy so you have to be careful of that I'm from a small island and I like that you said Bajan because some of the ingredients that they are sometimes is 1 less than what we would use and I like did you notice she didn't have Shadow Benny in it and I love what she's doing there
@EverythingPaulette

GM my dear, I am literally now seeing this comment; the combination of items used were perfect and you don't want to over mix that is the secret; it maintained the texture by storing in the refrigerator and the flavor was truly amazing!!
