Nice review 👍🏻 I drove the G310R last week for 2h. The most precise handling of all motorcycle I have ever driven. I'm 59yrs, 5.65 tall and I'm not a beginner. I highly recommend the BMW also for those that are tired of higher, faster, further. Downzising is my intention. The quality is premium and the small BMW offers so much fun. Greetings from Germany.

Thank you! I was also very impressed with the handling of this motorcycle. What I would love to see is a 600cc middleweight roadster from BMW. With their current lineup, there is a pretty significant gap between the G310 and F800.

@@Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles I totally agree. For example a roadster or half a NineT with 600ccm and a boxer engine would be my dream bike.

@@kathleenk8423 Check out the G310GS! Designed as a dual sport - the G310R wouldn't be great on dirt/gravel.

There is a low seat option as well that you can look into!

I just bought this bike and found the seat height a bit high, I'm 5'6". You can buy a brand new lower seat from BMW for £210. They were over £300 originally

I’m not a beginner I’ve taken the MSF course three times in my eye. I start riding motorcycles in 1990. I am 5 feet 4 1/2 and inches and I’ll live in northern Wisconsin on dirt roads and small two-lane roads. What do you think do you think this would be a good fit for me? I’m old now I am 67 years old 67 I guess sounds old anyway what would you what would you say? I have a couple of bikes in my garage and I’m getting a snowmobile, so what do you think?

The G310R is designed to be a roadster for paved roads. If you are going to be riding on some dirt roads, take a look at the BMW G310GS. It is the same engine and similar design, but meant to be used as a dual sport bike. I like it a lot!

This video was a pretty good G310R review, but at the same time it, at times, looked and sounded like a hostage video. I sort of expected you to say that "they are treating me well and tell my parents I love them." :)

Wasn't expecting to find a review from someone else who bought their g310r from Bob's. I just got mine in March. Are you local to the area? I've been trying to find fun (non-highway) routes to ride on.

Nice! How are you enjoying it so far? Yes, I live fairly close to the dealership - Baltimore County. I rarely ride on the highway so I know a lot of great roads up here. Feel free to send me an email - my contact info is on my main channel page.

Hi, I own an exact bike and thinking of upgrading it to a Ducati Monster 937 Plus, which is coincidentally the same pathway you took. Did you have a hard time adjusting to the throttle of the Ducati and did you find it overwhelming when you upgraded? Just wanting to get some advice and tips. Thank you

The electronics on the Ducati Monster are very good and you can adjust the riding modes for throttle sensitivity. I started in Rain mode the first time I was on the bike, which cuts the horsepower to 75 and makes the throttle much more forgiving. The throttle response is very predictable as long as you have practiced your throttle control. But, which you crack the throttle open, it can be startling the first time haha. The Monster is a very powerful bike but also manageable. You'll also find the handling to be quite similar to the G310 - very light and nimble. Here are a few of my videos you can check out to get a feeling for the ride: 1. Discussion of all the various riding modes: kzitem.info/news/bejne/qH5_3maFepuamaQ 2. @@Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles thanks so much for the advice. I normally use my ninja on the highway as the g310r lacks in torque and speed. Do you find the wind a problem on the highway with your Ducati? That’s the only thing that’s steering me away from it at this stage coz I have read that naked bikes dont handle wind very well on a highway.
@Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles

Sorry for the delayed response, just seeing this! Yes, wind on the highway is an issue and is not very comfortable for me. But, this is a problem with all naked bikes. However, there are some aftermarket wind screens by Puig and others for the Monster, which will give some wind protection.

It is made in conjunction with TVS motorcycles so it is more like the Apache RTR 310. The engine is also shared with the Apache 310RR.

Love my 2022! Been riding 40+ and wanted something for back roads light highway. Tired of the 900 i had and gave to my nephew, and traded my Grom for a trade. Easy riding, quick and fun, speed limit is 70, don't need a 200hp bike lol
