Thank you!! I added a Onechoices automatic submersible 12v 750gph to my (new to me) 2005 Yamaha Superjet. Had to epoxy it on the end closest to the foot tray as the pump was too bulky to fit toward the nose of the hull. Before installing I ordered some automotive marine electrical terminals with heat shrink wraps for attaching to the end of the negative wire and the automatic switch wire. Then took heat shrink wrap to the manual wire to close it off since that’s only used with a switch. I attached the negative terminal wire to the negative battery terminal and the automatic switch terminal wire to the positive terminal on the battery. Tested it out with water hose like you did on here before using the epoxy to set it in...worked great! Let the epoxy set for 3 days and then took it out and did some fountains to fill the hull up. Bilge kicked in as soon as I flattened out the ski. So far so good 😊

How did you mount your pump to the bottom of your ski?

Can you send a link to the pump? Also, can you show the wiring setup I fill from battery to pump? Update on how it’s been working for ya?

Been using the same pump since 2003, 17 years and it hasn't failed. I have a RuleMate 1100, but recommend the Rulemate 750 or 800. 2 straight wires to the battery, that's it.

I like to have the expensive switch so when someone tries to get past me in the buoys I let him have it with 2000 GPH lol.

Actually the best bilge pump is none. Use PWC Doctor's Versiplug and you are evacuating water with only forward movement...no battery required.

If you bought the same model of switch nowadays, it'd be a piece of shit. Rule quality has gone down the shitter

@@Fire_Power414 Right now Whale makes the best centrifugal pumps in the industry, followed by Johnson. Even more important is the pump switch, of which Ultra Safety Switches make the best (I'd recommend the Ultra Junior)

Are you not worried about burning out the pump when ski is not on? Is the pump on all the time?

The Rule auto pumps cycle every two minutes to check for water but they’re off most of the time and not drawing any current.

And on race boats, I’d leave a rule 500 running the whole time the boat was out. I had one last for two or three seasons before I chucked it due to noise.
