Girl I had nerve to dye some of my hair blonde and my locks were HIGHLY UPSET! But my hair gave me some instructions on how to bring my hair back to life. I completely understand you, Sis. And trust me you can definitely fix it. DON'T CUT IT!

Dying my locs caused me to cut them off within months. They never felt the same again. I’ve just restarted new locs years later and I’ll never dye them lighter again.

U should try steaming your locs! Steam aids in moisture retention! My hair was colored & crunchy until I started steaming!

Great idea!!! My sister in love has locs too and she also suggested steaming. I will most definitely be trying that in the near future. Any suggestions on brand?

Try deep conditioning a couple washes to see if that helps dyed hair needs moisture just make sure to rinse out the conditioner very well each time I dye my locs black a couple of times before it has been awhile since my last dye job but conditioner kept my locs from getting dry

Deep conditioning makes me nervous because of potential buildup. I do however do hot oil treatment and pre-poos. But honestly I think it’s just damaged 😔

Have you tried a protein treatment to help keep protein balance in your locs? I'm glad you got your hair to feel more moisturized.

No, I have not tried a protein treatment because when i was a loose natural i was protein sensitive. However, I think i fix the situation. Thank God.

Hey sis! Very nice results. Do you interlock or palm roll? How often?
@latoyamichelle8346

I palm roll majority of my locs however my edges are unruly lol. I used to interlock my edges but now I use the crocket tool every other retwist.

@@latoyamichelle8346 Designed to repair damaged hair, the OLAPLEX treatment works to rebuild broken hair bonds. I took the previous statement from an advertisement but the treatment is really good for chemically treated hair.

Unless you are licensed you can only get the number three deep conditioner however the olaplex number 1 is a liquid treatment so if you can find a stylist I highly recommend
