Missing ublock origin, so many ads on websites can be highly malicious. I don't think switching to duck duck go makes sense (in terms of improving privacy) so long as you are using Gmail, Google Maps, Waze, KZitem or Facebook. The information they gather from that and associate with you is available to them as is. And creating a profile of you based on what you search for etc. is not as big a concern as people have blown it out to be. Heck, people even wanted all this not that long ago, asked to stop being served ads for things they will never care for. Set your privacy settings properly, don't push data out you don't want to be out there and follow basic security practices and you should not have to worry about the data that is collected about you.

simply use Ublock Origin.

uBlock Origin is wildly better then that "Adblock" or "Adblock plus" Adblock dont block all the ads , uBlock blocks about 98% of what I see (so far) . . .

@@hdezn26 Is uBlockOrigin also effective on privacy? Block tracking cookies and the components they track?

@@Nunzio_77 It's pending on how you set it up. Pending on what you may block may mess with sites though as some refuse to load properly with some setings. I'm sure that someone out there has better info than I can give though. About the cookies part . . I haven't checked that yet. (Thier may be plug-ins that one could add to customize what it does).

@@Nunzio_77 It does have some add ons that can pervent cookies but I primarily use it to stop mal-verts from loading... Configured properly I would think you could block alot of things. Farcebook stuff to be a example . . . (side note I use the uBlock Origin chrome extention if I forgot to note that.)

Hey, Could you figure out a solution to this? %temp% folder keeps filling and installing .tmp files and others. What does this mean? How to get rid of it?
@MaksKCS

These are temporary files for a reason and your system will always generate new ones. Only thing you can do if it's bothering you is to buy bigger storage and/or keep deleting that stuff.

@@Huntinised I mean... sure? Viruses can do basically anything without AV.

@Akira Okay. I have seen number folders, .pf’s and wct files. What are these files related to?

What about SessionBuddy instead of OneTab?

They both look quite good. As I mentioned the focus of this video is the principles. You can use other tools that accomplish the same things.

No mention to passwordstore.org? Bummer, the minimalists get no love most of the time
