Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
2 t. baking powder
1/4 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 stick of butter
Preparation:
• In a mixing bowl add flour, baking powder,
baking soda, & salt.
• Wisk until evenly mixed.
• Freeze your butter for 20 - 30 min.
• Use a grater to grate your butter & throw
shredded frozen butter into flour mixture.
• Use a fork to mix shredded butter into mixture.
• Form a bowl in the center of flour.
• Pour Buttermilk into center & stir.
• Add extra flour little by little until dough is barely
wet.
• *Very gently knead dough but don't mash too
hard.
• Set oven to 425°F.
• Use a cookie cutter to cut out biscuits.
• Place biscuits in oiled 8" x 8" baking pan.
• Bake for 12 -16 min. or until golden brown.
• Remove biscuits from oven & brush with melted
butter.
