As I wipe away the nostalgic tears, as a child of the 1950s I grew up with TV and these people. What nice entertainment and great actors. Pure entertainment without nudity, car crashes and fake super heroes. Our time has passed. The memories endure. Thanks for taking the time to put this together.

@Redcoat’s Return - A possible exhumation of Dorothy’s body from Gate of Heaven Cemetery is the latest approach that her biographer Mark Shaw has taken during his long campaign to give her justice. Dr. Cyril Wecht has promised to examine her body for DNA that a murderer might have left behind. Dr. Wecht has served as a consultant on investigations into many other unsolved deaths including the death of JonBenet Ramsey. Me, I feel Mark Shaw could spend his time more productively if he allied himself with a member of the United States Senate or House of Representatives so they can petition the FBI and CIA to declassify all documents. Mark should fight for the release of every document that mentions Dorothy’s name and every document that mentions Ron Pataky’s name. You are familiar with him, I presume.

justafanintexas Lmao. Jerry Lewis and phony don't even belong in the same sentence. He was one of the most honest people in Hollywood and that's a fact. And on top of that, he spoke his mind, why do you think so many people was left butthurt? But please elaborate on this so called phoniness. As for your last comment about Martin got better once Lewis left, I'm not even going to entertain it because we all know that without Lewis there wouldn't have been Martin, and that's another fact for you.
@TBFC1985
5 жыл бұрын
Linda Shelley It's pretty well documented that Jerry said that he instigated the split not that he was the first to walk away. And if you paid more attention to Dean, who you claim to love, and less attention to Jerry, who you claim to dislike, you would know that Dean did an interview where he stated that Jerry stopped confiding in him and started to act differently toward him, which made Dean feel like Jerry was pushing him away. This practical backs up what Jerry said about being an instigator.

It could've been masked by the ambient smoke on the set. It was common to light up and smoke whenever, where ever you wanted too back then. In many of these old shows you'll see the host and guests casually smoking.

It appears as though Cerf knew who it was immediately. As far as the cigar odour, some could smell it and probably some could not. At the very end Groucho turns to Daly and says, 'I think they knew who I was.' But there's also the idea that the heated smoke, being thinner than air, rises and is not immediately detected.

Just think if the show was smart enough to save the chalk boards all these celebrities signed what they'd be worth today.

Game Show Network ran every show from #1 to the last show, in order, at 5am every day over the course of a few years. After the last show-- they started again the next day with #1. GSN still has the rights to the show and in order to retain them, they are required to show it at least 5 times a year. So look for it sometime between Dec 15 and Dec 31 every year on GSN at about 3am or 4am. (Same with I've Got a Secret.)
