I love your vids but it’s kinda hard for me to take your recommendations seriously because of your affiliation with gamma/stylecraft. Their are alot of clippers that are somewhat superior in my opinion. Jrl for example. No disrespect or anything. Your videos are still great

JRL gets the job done just as well while being more quiet. The faper blade can also be purchased from JRL's online store. Bought the instinct because of the hype but just returned them. That vector motor is loud & can only imagine it getting louder over time.

He is at least open and honest about his affiliation and when he gives a reason for liking them over any other company it's a valid reason. I will be the 1st to admit that the instincts are hit or miss but remember this is a new type of clipper motor on it first full drop. Do you understand how little research and development has actually gone into this industry? Basically none before the last 5 years and it's the 2nd oldest profession in the world. I am personally looking forward to whatever's next. That being said though I wish they pick a few to be flagship and build on that.

@@zero_linez I agree with everything you said , it’s just in my opinion as a consumer I can’t go by his endorsements because of his close affiliation with gamma/stylecraft. I still love his videos and I’m not knocking his hustle. More power to him. His videos are basically promotions/ commercials for stylecraft. I mean look at the background of his videos, all the boxes are stylecraft and gamma. Put yourself in a normal persons shoes or a beginner barber. They might spend money on a clipper that isn’t as good as other ones just by watching his vids. I still love his vids and I’m not taking a dig at him at all. Just a difference of opinion. That’s all

@@paigeofstylez I did see 360’s video and his opinion is more valid to me. 360 tells it like it is in his opinion and he is not making a commercial for any company. But again it’s all about opinions. And apparently in this day and age if you like the color blue and I like red than I’m wrong for liking red. That’s how this generation thinks and unfortunately nobody knows how to debate anymore

I have both, use em both, love them both, and have problems with both. Rebel has a sound issue, although I kinda fixed it by swapping out the cam follower with one from my magic clip. And having battery issues with the instinct. Personally, I gravitate towards the instinct, bc I feel like I can go a bit quicker (where the rebel will leave some flyaways and taking more time). But when I do go back to my rebels, I remember why I love em so much.

Same with my gamma boosted its been my 2nd clipper and i have to put it down for the inconsistency with Noise it brings. Im going to buy a new Sprint and Cam follower, but this will be my last attempt to keep it going. Might stick to the lo pros instead

@@Daniel-jm6nf So I have actually brought it up with customer service before, and they sent me a new cam follower. But what I noticed is their cam follower is crap, and needs to be modded out. Clippers are overall very solid, and I love the power, as they really help with the speed of the cut. But you do need to put in the occasional maintenance to keep it up to par, which is a bit annoying. To me, it's definitely worth the maintenance time, but this becomes completely subjective to the person at this point.

Stylecraft challenges are durability. Lost total confidence in the Rebel with the switch on/off beeing defective/totally broken with a 2months back order on pieces. That's unaceptable. And when you read thru the web, seems we all have problems with the switch , I would have correct that before sound. For now I still can't say if i'll be back with a Rebel until I have better confidence in it although it's an amazing clipper. Anyone else had the on/off switch issues?

I have both, and an ergo (v 2) and a TPOB slime 2. I dont know where I’m sitting. I’d like to keep them all but I’d also like to sell one and for instance, buy another shaver or put that toward a longer set of shears. I feel like having too many clippers is giving me anxiety! I also don’t notice any more power whatsoever in the instinct than I did the rebel or even the ergo 🤷🏽♂️

When you have that issue sometimes there is a buildup of hair in the switch. You can usually clean that out if it still clicks. The other thing you can check and see if the battery wires are hooked up. Sometimes they come a little bit loose and you might be able to sodder them.
