Best Couscous With Vegetables Recipe
Healthy and Delicious Vegan Meal Everyone Will Love. If you want you can even add a protein to it like Chicken.
For the vegetables soup
2 -3 tablespoons oil
1 large onion
4 ribs celery
1 green squash
3 potatoes
1 carrot
1 small Butternut squash
2 sweet potatoes
Half a cabbage
1 can of chick peas
Spices:
Salt, pepper, turmeric and chicken powder
Saute the onions with the oil ,then add the spices and cook for 1-2 min , then add all the chopped vegetables , add water so it won't cover the vegetables completely.
Cook for about 30 - 35 min on medium flame or until the vegetables are ready.
For the couscous
On each cup of couscous we need one cup of hot water (1:1)
Spices:
Salt, Pinch of turmeric and pepper (optional)
1-2 tea spoons oil
