Thanks for another awesome video. The best thing about your videos are the details. Many times you can't tell exactly how deep the pockets are until you put something in it. Very realistic and useful information.

Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I'm really glad the videos have been helpful and I totally agree ,it's so hard to tell size just from watching a video so i want to make sure everyone can get a good idea of what to expect when they get the bag =)

Been shopping around for an Able Carry Daily (Daily Plus) and I wish they had a Cordura 1000D in black - right now it's either xpac in black or cordura in olive or tan which is juuuuust missing that sweet spot for me

Love your review with this pack! May I know how the Daily Backpack held up during a year (even though considering you may not have used the pack after your testing)? I was quite skeptical of the durability and craftsmanship due to a review where they showed pictures of the inner lining's seams being stretched. If you get the time to answer this, and if you did, thank you! 😀😀😀

Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I’m glad the video was helpful! I have used this one quite a bit even after testing as this has been one of the more comfortable bags I have had a chance to test out and so far it has held up very well! I haven’t noticed any issues with the materials or zippers and the bag still looks great! Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag!:)

Hey there again travelingsalseros. I just want to ask you if what is better and worth it to buy, between Boundary Supply Errant Pack and AbleCarry Daily Backpack. Because they both have the same price range and I can't decide between them.
@dannypacks
4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and good question! Definitely a tough choice between these two, I think it depends if you like to have more pockets and features or if you want something very simple and effective. The boundary errant has a lot of cool pockets, and it can open flat and if it has a separate compartment for dirty clothes and you can purchase lots of different accessories for it, but many times hay can make using the bag a little complex. The able carry bag on the other hand has few pockets but they are very effective and everything is easy to use. Both are very comfortable and offer lots of weather resistance and I do think the laptop pocket on the errant is a little better but both have been really great daily bags. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags :)

Great bag! Thanks for the review. I'm kinda confused about the sizing of the bags. The last bag that i purchased was the Timbuk2 Authority Pack Deluxe its says 28L but its tight and narrow compared to my Nomatic Travel Pack which is 20L unexpanded.

Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! and I definitely understand and I have often been confused by how companies use liters haha For example the Are fit pack 2 which has a similar shape and is actually a little bigger than this bag is rated at 18.8 L and this one is 20. Another bag that really threw me off is the Standard Travel bag, which was said to be 35L but it feels bigger than that so unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an easy way to use the liters to determine how big the bag will be =/ With regards to the 20L of the Nomatic and the 20L on this one I'd say they're pretty close in the amount of stuff that will fit into the main compartment. I hope that helps at least a little and if there's any more specific questions I can answer please let me know =)

So I ended up getting this pack, and love the way it looks, but you were right in that it’s really tight. Seems smaller than 20 liters. Can you tell me if the Aer Day Pack and the Bellroy Classic Plus can hold more? Again, the looks of this pack are incredible; I just don’t know if it’s going to work for me long term because of how tight it is getting my gear inside.

Thank you for watching! The Bellroy Classic Plus can definitely hold more and its a little bit bigger (~22L i think). The Aer Day Pack can also hold a little bit more but its very close between that and the Able Carry. Id say they main compartments are pretty similar but the front organizational area of the Day pack gives it a slight edge in what it can hold. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags =)

Traveling Salseros Thanks for the reply. What’s curious is the specs for the Aer Daypack indicate that it’s smaller than the Able Carry pack, so that’s interesting that you find that it can hold more. I do like that it has a more pockets, so I may take a chance on it. As for the Bellroy Classic Plus, I really think that one could work. It’s just a bit more $$ than I anticipated spending, but I guess you get what you pay for. If you had to pick between that one or the Aer Daypack, which one would you choose?

Glad to help! and i always found Aer's listings for the Day Pack very confusing, i think the day pack is listed at 14L or something around that and the bag definitely feels bigger than that. Its unfortunate the Bellroy has that higher price tag because between the three (this one, the daypack and the classic plus) the classic plus has been my favorite. I really like how the organization is laid out in that bag and 22L seems to be a really great sweet spot for what I like to carry with on a day to day. the only thing with the Bellroy (its unfortunate there always seems to be a but... haha) is that the straps can be a little finnicky and i liked the ones on the Aer and Able carry bags better.

Traveling Salseros Thanks again for all your help!! The Aer Daily Pack is definitely intriguing (I carry and use their Cable Kit everyday), but I think I’m going to give the Bellroy Classic Plus a shot and just take a loss on the Able Carry. Now I just need to decide between the ash or black models. I normally always go for black, but I found a place that has the ash on sale for 20% off which is enticing. Very hard decision!!

Very glad to help! and man that 20% off on the Bellroy sounds great, that definitely makes it a compelling alternative to the Day Pack! Im a fan of black as well, but that grey model looks pretty cool! =)

This or Bellroy Classic v2?
@dannypacks

Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice between the two! Both are really comfortable and durable, but I slightly prefer the organizational layout and laptop compartment on the bellroy. The able carry may offer a little more weather resistance depending on which version you get, but the bellroy does a pretty good job with that as well and if you need something a little more professional looking that may be the better option. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags!:)

@dannypacks

Thank you for watching! and good (and tough) question! haha I really like all those bags, and I slightly prefer the look of the Aer bags, but I really like how the organization is laid out in this bag and I think the laptop compartment is better implemented (since its elevated it adds extra protection). And even though they are all very comfortable the Able Carry is a little bit more comfortable due to the anchor points on the bottom and the daily active in particular because of the sail cloth material. An even tougher comparison would be with the Aer Fit Pack 2 which reminded me the most of this bag and if I was going to be carrying a little bit more stuff I would probably lean towards that one. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags =)
