I have been using Art Glitter Designer Adhesive which looks alot like elmer’s glue. The glue is water based and the best part is I do not have to seal. I just apply my glue, add my glitter and in a few minutes its dry; I reapply another layer of glue if I need to add more glitter, but otherwise she’s good to go with your BT or EP. I am also very new to tumbler making. I have used this product twice with zero issues.

Love watching your videos!!! I dislike E6K also. I did use a body roller to smoosh my glitter and omg game changer. I’ve sealed with clear spray and just let gas off. I found that I don’t have to spin it as much before smooshing and don’t lose too much glitter.

Hi Alison: loved the video... I think it’s a great way to hear and ask questions that might arise! I’m a newbie to BT and have a couple of questions. 1) why does the white glitter have a yellowish color after applying Crystalac? 2) Chucky glitter... is it best to stay away from or is there a better way to flatten it where you don’t have to do 20 layers of BT? Thank you again for you channel😊
@AlisonCrafts

It can yellow for two reasons 1) glitter bleed 2) coats too thick. I love using chunky glitter you just have to get it as flat as possible! Here is a video of me using chunky: kzitem.info/news/bejne/yG2pk3WshIp4nYI

Hi Alison. I have been seeing a product which has peaked my interest everywhere it is called quick coat. It is waterbased and thick and pricey. But I found e6000 pricey for what it is. Have you heard of it?
@AlisonCrafts
3 жыл бұрын
I have heard of it. First, the reason I use e6000 is to seal the glitter... If I were going to just use quick coat, I'd rather use BT. The website says a respirator is necessary and that there are dangerous fumes. I can't find an sds sheet which is also very concerning!
