Awesome breakdown there buddy. And even go into the give aways! Nicely done. Btw was that mug a hint for some pixelart? ;)

I am literally working on it now. Irl is a bit difficult but im working on. One thing i can say, its a positive review. Depending on what you expect out of a meter it definitely lives up to its niche. Thank you for asking!

I don't really know what to expect from it I see pros and cons because I'm an electronics technician by trade in the oil field. several of us think it's kind of cool that you have an oscope built into it but I dislike the fact that it's screenshot rather than live data and the idea of having to have an extra hand to hold my screen or phone while I'm trying to take measurements isn't very good. Also like you pointed out before not being able to replace the tips or cables is definitely a bad thing for it. The other part I wish the positive lead was the one that was on a cable since I can ground to just about anything and it's the power side or positive side that I need to be able to get into areas more often. I do like that it's able to record the data and send it via my phone. Rather than pulling out my phone to record my meter lol. I currently have a fluke 87, fluke 787, fluke 789, fluke 725, a fracsim (which I wish they were still making them though The one downside I found to the device was not having replaceable fuses instead of board mounted) And just recently because my brother knows nothing about electronics and I wasn't going to give him a fluke I bought a kaiweets HT118E for when I need something to loan out or am not afraid to lose lol surprisingly it's worked pretty well compared to my fluke 87 especially when I put slightly better leads on it I don't know if you've reviewed any of those.

@@semperfi73533 great reply and i can definitely help you on this one. So first off i got the ocilliscope trigger wrong, it does do live data you just hafto set the trigger to live. Point 1- i do not recommend this device for feild use, it is not nearly as robust and reliable as a hardware based, environment rated meter. I say this having used it in light commercial hvac for over a month. The pokit pro is a fantastic “techy” or toy meter thats great for cleaner invironments where reliability is less important. Point 2- the leads are definitely an issue, but there is a solution. They offer a “tip kit” that adapts the leads to banana jacks and even a bnc connector. That means you can set the divice down and use proper leads (i prefer the fluke adaptable leads) to interface. Point 3- the extra hand needed to hold the screen has a couple answer. Myself i really like putting magnets on everything so the meter can just hang whever is convenient and the screen (cell phone) can stick to any metal surface. There is and option that i have not deen able to use that it can use a smart watch as a screen but i think that application is limited. All in all its a great device for a limited number of environments and an oil feild i would not say is one of them. As for entry level multimeters, i did recently make a video about entry level meters that you may find interesting. kzitem.info/news/bejne/zHmLmqqXrZuUqY4 These are just my opinions of course but i hope they are helpful
