I have watched around 20 of your videos. You provide a detailed first impression of each rv you look at. I appreciate the time you put into this. I also like your personal perspective of the RV’s that you review. Thanks for creating your channel.

Great overview. You covered everything and in particular the TWO things difficult to find out online. You actually measured that sofa/bed area in the background. ON THIS UNIT, I have been wanting hard information as I might have to sleep back there if I snore...and apparently I will according to someone. AND, drum roll please... YOU CAN ORDER WITH A TWO WAY FRIDGE... I hate 12 volt... And we enjoy the shade. NIce thing about 12 volt trailer is that it opens up all the really nice shaded sites in campgrounds. You park in the parking lot, I"ll take a nice shaded campsite all day long. The other "issue I was wondering about was the set up of the suspension. That "lift" they do with I hope a boxed channel frame that elevates things I would likely try to reinforce somehow, some more welding, something. Stacking that piece on top of another doesn't look stable on some national forest roads...will need to get under and see for sure, but You at least showed it. I love tortion bars over standard suspensions but I'm a bit concerned about lateral forces on the elevated area. You carry a measuring tape around with you... Can you comment on that? But, in general, this basically is like a fifth wheel in a travel trailer package...UNDER 30 FEET with a separate bunkroom. I didn't think that was possible. I dislike schwintec slides but with that one ONLY being a wardrobe slide, I'm good with that. They are a decent design if there is zero weight involved... Rack and pinion on the other two if perfect. Right now this checks all of my wifes boxes and mine. That never happens. She has quit looking and hinting at me to get a fifth wheel my major no no box. I've been doing bumper tows for 25 years and do NOT want to deal with a whole set of new logistics. And the weights of this hits my 2500 Hemi sweet spot on that end of things. Almost perfect. So, I've seen one of the Forest River Ultra Light versions of this with the dinette in back. We are empty nesters and don't want that. We like the "island bar" set of seats and the nice comfy chairs... I love the large water capacities in the tanks and can live with the Thank you for an excellent overview. One of the best I've seen on any travel trailer.

The fanny pack is key! The Scots had sporrans to keep stuff in when wearing kilts. It is manly, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! 😂 Glad you try things out and measure. We need to know if the big kids fit as well as the little kids. Thank you!

This is definitely an interesting one with the bunk room I never understood why they put carpet on those "steps" next to the bed I do like the layout though I'm in the market for a Super C but I would have loved to have this one at one time

Hey Myles. I am looking to buy a 5th wheels, and I've been watching a lot of your videos, and of course, when I am ready to buy it, I'll contact you for sure. Just one quick question: What is going on with the RV industry lately, since I see a lot of quality issues and complaints currently. Can you address that?
@mylesrv
6 ай бұрын
That’s always been a thing in the RV space. I don’t even know how to address it exactly. They are trying to build a home that doesn’t have anything shake or move out of place when being towed down roads of all different conditions that will both be light weight enough to be towable by vehicles most people have, and also constructed to not fall apart from all the force they experience. It’s a tough thing to perfect and no RV is perfect. In fact, I’ve always told everyone that they only make 2 types of RVs, ones that are broken and ones that will be. Another I’ve heard is if you own an RV, it’s not about if or when something goes wrong, it’s how often and having a good sense humor about it. And it’s just that. My family has had 7 RVs over my life and every one has had things go wrong at least once or twice. We just address it and either fix it ourselves or take it in to get fixed and understand it’s part of what comes with towing something like these down the road. There’s also things you as an owner are responsible for maintaining such as the seals on the roof. That’s your responsibility to check regularly to make sure they are maintaining their integrity and are getting filled in if they dry and crack. There’s a lot to this topic but that about sums up the basics. I’ve never been shy to let people know that if you’re looking to buy something maintenance free, don’t buy an RV. Just like people who want a maintenance free living space should just rent an apartment, not buy a house.

I’d omit the tv in the kitchen. Not worth the needed cabinet space. With TVs in the bedrooms it isn’t necessary.

When it comes to RV's these days there is no "BEST" . They are all poor quality or basically a pile of expensive junk ! Speaking from experience, I've owned 4.
