Looking for your thoughts on an idea I had for shocks on my fcx24 power wagon. I'm building it up in kind of a rock racer/rat rod trophy truck style. Got the mc cue extended links, and a trimmed/fender-less atlas body mounted farther back and lower. So anyways, do you think the Injora 59mm long travel shocks for the trx4m would be a viable option for the rear? I'm thinking I'd have to make custom shock mounts on the chassis so that at full compression the shocks are bottomed out. the specs say they have 17mm of travel vs 14mm for their 45mm fcx24 shocks. Worth trying? I like building, coming up with custom setups, ect, but also hate wasting money on stuff that doesn't work. Thanks! love your channel, it's by far my favorite for all the micro crawler stuff.

Great looking truck. Strange though that they felt the topper was optional but not the back window. A cheezy opaque sticker at least. It seems the top of the shocks are so close to the bottom of that nicely deep bed that the bed should have been over them (another thing covered up by the shell). I broke down and bought another of their 1/24 powerwagons though the company did me wrong I loved the truck and and had to have a working one. I've had it for a couple weeks and it still is running better than my first one out of the box (and still). Broke an axle on my cayman today just hopping over some lumps on the ground but I already have metal ones that have been waiting for this day.

@@2fmrc WOWRC responded and is sending a V2 receiver and transmitter. I'm glad I don't have to tear it apart and put it back together stock. I have learned that you must get to know these things and run them instead of modding them first thing. It seems to me like there's a social media blackout on this subject. I saw a video of yours that pointed the issue out on the K5 but I could not find anything about the PowerWagon having this issue. Maybe they took the V1s out of the K5s and put them in the powerwagons. I think the PowerWagons are the best crawler platforms of the two but don't have my hands on a K5. I have 13 rigs all bought mid last year to now. I wish I could have them all but these 10 that are 1/24 crawlers are more than a handful to maintain. I don't think anyone could have pulled me into the hobby as deep as I am as you have. No regrets though I do get moody at times such as this.
