Basically we don't tell "vai ' to everyone coz it has different meaning in nepali. Vai means a small brother so it may not be suitable for everyone specially the older than you we called them " Dai ' but you can say " Saathi ' to anyone it means friend in nepali. Anyways have a good days sir love you from outside of kathmandu...💜🙏

And about that Thakali set the little guy was talking about. Thakali are the people who are originally from Himalayan areas, especially from areas near mustang. And rice set is something every Nepali eats in lunch and dinner. So, basically Thakali set is lunch and dinner set in Thakali style. For that I will recommend you to visit ‘Lete Thakali Kitchen’ in Naxal Area. That is one of the best place I recommend you to visit. If you ever visit that place do call for the owner ‘ Mahina Gauchan ‘ and tell her Monsoon recommended this place to me. You will get the best Thakali lunch set in that place.

At least 10 videos had been filmed before I started posting my KZitem series. Unfortunately while I was filming not a single person corrected me on bhai vs dhai in those first videos so I did not find out until I began posting my KZitem videos. I am well aware now of this, however, these videos have already been filmed so I can’t change them now. In future videos, as per the locals I met, I used bhai for younger than me and dhai for older. I’m getting a ton of comments about this, I appreciate the feedback. But please understand it’s going to take a few more videos for this to be resolved as they’ve already been filmed!

I am in Chicago right now. And seeing your traveling my country gave me De Ja Vu. Enjoy brother. If you want to try local traditional cuisine do try newari food with buff meat. It is believed that newari cuisine prepare food from every part of buff meat. If you take my suggestion, get a cab and go to ‘Harisiddhi Newa Shulee ‘ it is a place where they serve newari culture food with cultural ambience and dress on staffs as well. I bet you will enjoy the food their, it is one of my best place to eat. Enjoy brother.

not sure if you already know this or if anyone has told you, but there are a few things I felt like you oughta know: 1. Kathmandu valley has three main cities: Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur. 2. all three cities have their own durbar squares which are also UNESCO world heritage sites and entry into it costs around 1000 rupees for tourists (it looks like in your video you got lucky no one stopped you or checked the ticket while exploring the area where you had momo: Also just a history trivia "freak street is the place where hippies came in during the 60s; hence, it got its name freak street; back then hash, marijuana was legal in Nepal) 3. Some of the cool must-see places I recommend as a local for you while you are in Kathmandu : a. Kirtipur (excellent authentic local food: recommendation place Lahana, and historical sites: baghbhairab temple, uma maheshwor temple ) b. Boudhanath stupa (Unesco site) c. Pashupatinath temple (UNESCO site) d. swayambhunath also called monkey temple (UNESCO site ) some of the scenic naturally beautiful places with hiking spots: a. Nagarkot (highlight in this place: famous for the site seeing of mountain range near Kathmandu) b. Sundari Jal (highlight in this place: multiple hiking trails with time 3:4 hrs depending on how long you want to stretch it ) c. Chandragiri (highlight in this place: cable car to a temple high up on the top of a Hill 2.3k meters tall) Cheers enjoy your time in Nepal

I just learned that 25% of people in Nepal are living on 50 cents per day!! But believe me when I say this I don't mind living there, make friends and try to make the best out of it. I love how lively the country is and it seems like people are nice over there. I'm not kidding. I'd marry a beautiful Nepali woman and live a simple and happy life. I also like challenges, and I'm sure there would be many over there but I'm man enough to deal with them. I love the States, but we are overrated in many ways, and our life style made us lose our touch with humanity and our appreciation for things others are struggling to find, obtain or acquire. Man this Pinot Noir is giving me wisdom today 😂 No but for real, I meant every word I said. The hell with money and fake-social life. I like things to be real. 17:04 by the time you're 40, you're gonna be one hard mf to impress because you've seen it all :) I think you should start learning how to play an instrument so you won't lose your mind out of boredom one day lol
