Two solutions I can think of, that could suppress tanking: a) Establish a low-limit win% (sth like 0.300) as necessity for a team to be awarded the highest chances in draft lottery. b) Invert the awarding-order of the 1st draft-pick chances, by awarding the teams that "almost" made playoffs higher (i.e. this year Denver etc.), and the rest according to their win%. Speaking up my mind fast. Discussion is welcome.

Jason Elliott no he would be a trusted playmaker with lebron and let lebron sit a little more, (hopefully let bron play about 4 minutes less a game, and also would help to carry the offense when bron takes a play off or sits. but I think Cleveland get a rim protector regardless if they can't get deandre Jordan or another top big in free agency. I could see them getting nerlens Noel, tyreke evans and trae young and be the favorites to won the east again

4 years is still a dumb amount of time to full out tank.. I'm sure the fans enjoyed all those years. I'm glad Adam Silver realizes this as a serious issue.. proper team management and good coaching should get rewarded with good players.
@aidanfarr7073
6 жыл бұрын
Except that teams who suck, suck precisely because they don't have proper team mangagment and good coaching, it's called leveling the playing field, otherwise the same teams would dominate every year for the rest of time, the Warriors and others may dominate now, but giving bad teams good picks because they tank or just straight suck is the only solution. Fans will whinge and say they're never gonna root for their team again yet once the tanking phase is over and the team is succesful, they'll jump back on when it's convienient, tanking isn't a problem, it annoys me that this is even a debate.

You guys say "Tanking is awful" and say its terrible for young talent to go to bad teams then go on to say that Cleveland should get a top 2 pick. Don't you realize why so many teams are tanking? Teams are being stacked more than ever leaving the rest of the league in the dust. Let all the good talent go to these terrible teams so they can build something and fuck the top stacked tier, its the only way to build some sort of balance.

My analysis says: -as prospect from euroleague to NBA, ur stats will goes up -defensively, scoring at euro is harder than NBA(try to do iso on a zone and with 7footer keep standing inside the paint) Bonus: -cosistent clutch player will be the greats, at least hall of famer (except injury) -Atheleticism is not from vertical and speed that matters, but how balanced the player is in contacts

@JordanGreenYT
6 жыл бұрын
Moritz B Yea and D'Angelo was a top 2 pick, so Luka is definitely gonna be nice in the league. His size and athleticism (to an extent) are more like Gordon Hayward, and his iso game may be more like Joe Johnson. I just said D Russ because of his passing and shooting.
@pcs54
6 жыл бұрын
Yea to me its hard to find a comparison because most guys luka's size dont have his handles or when they do they either dont have his shot or cant pass like him. So he's a bit unique but I think its important that he goes to a team that uses him right and lets him play the point and not try to turn him into a wing scorer/shooter.
@JordanGreenYT

Chicago Front Office announced that they are going to draft a Wing player, good thing Luka Doncic can play on the wing AND the point. Also if he get's drafted before the Bulls then Michael Porter Jr. will end up in Chicago.

I’d personally want MPJ on the bulls but Luka Doncic would not be bad at all.

Because Lebron is the KING and has a winning mind-set. He led the average Cavs to the Eastern finals this season. Many consider Russell Westbrook as the best pg in the league, but he's a loser, 'cause they were eliminated in the 1st round, with the superstars like Melo and George on the team, not to mention Durant in the previous yrs. KD is probably the best scorer in the world, but he has no mindset like Lebron. He even fled to the championship team in order to win the ring. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Cavs fan (I support Partizan BC), but those are the facts that nobody can dispute

Yes father is Serbian but he is born in slovenia so stop saying he is serb

Of course he's Slovenian - he was born and raised in Slovenia. That's normal. One of my best friends is half-Slovenian (by his father), he has a Slovenian last name (Trefalt), and he declares as a Serb, because he's born in Belgrade and have never been to Slovenia. The thing is that a lot of basketball fans here in Serbia love Luka because of his enormous talent. The only thing that irritates me is that Real Madrid took him as a boy, as well as many other talented boys from ex-Yu, instead of watching at least one season those kids playing in the ABA league.

"He's grandfather is from the vicinity of Maribor, but I guess you know better , right?" That doesn't change the fact that his surname is not Slovenian.
