As long as it could used the widely-available AA's and has dual-spring configuration, count me in. Hard strikes could sometimes damaging the internal circuit board. I'm looking into MT2A for my new EDC.

01:30 you must be really tiny compared to me, because I have a fenix LD20 and LD22 (the light that the one you're holding was based on) and it doesn't stick out of my hand quite that far. I'm 6 foot 5 (1.9558 meters) tall and my hands can completely cover most of the lights you show off.

@@NitecoreSG honestly no...I scour KZitem frequently for the newer lineup of nitecore products. Your platform and reviews are extremely beneficial for me because you discuss the lights in the context of real tactical applications/real users. Very good info. I haven’t pulled the trigger yet but I believe I will get the p22r. It looks like it is the most high performance tactical light in the new lineup, but still retains a small enough profile to be useful for daily operation. Thanks for what you do!

@@NitecoreSG In regards to a self defense scenario, does the p20ix have a sufficient hotspot for disrupting someone's vision at close range? Will it make someone close their eyes and throw up their hands to cover their face?
@NitecoreSG
2 жыл бұрын
@@reggieb24 in my experience, if they are aggressive they won’t cover their eyes but charge forward blindly. So if you flash someone, be ready to move out of the way / reposition / runaway

@@NitecoreSG thanks for your reply! Would one of the flashlights that you recommended in this video be a better option for blinding someone at close range? Better than the p20ix? For the MT2A which uses two AA batteries, will the performance be affected if I use normal disposal batteries (eg. Energizer, Eveready etc) as compared to rechargeable batteries. Will rechargeable battery have better light output, shine distance and so forth
I love streamlight but I own two nitecore tini2 lights. They are extremely thoughtful products. As far as I know streamlight doesn't make a AA light which is this logical and for self defense.

Hi, I work for a delivery shop, but now in winter it’s to fast dark to see the numbers on the houses, what light do you recommend for use in the car, when I stop to see the number on the house, what flashlight you recommend? I have already a p20ix but the flood is to much so it’s blind me when I’m in the car because it light the whole car on max power. I thinking of a LEP flashlight, great throw and almost non flood so I can use it from inside the car. Do Nitecore have also LEP flashlight’s? Or a good LED flashlight with minimum flood but great throw (400 meters or more). The p30i is to big to take it in and out the car with the delivery stuff, the p20ix is a good size to carry on the belt when I’m driving. Regreds. The P20ix is great for dark streets, see everything before it’s on top of me 😜
