As of 2021, the Fujitsu LZAS1, LZAH1, RLS3, and RLS3H are even more energy efficient as they have an EER, SEER, and HSPF ratings of about 18, 33, and 14 with annual energy use around 470 kWh. These air conditioners are energy-efficient as they are about 54% better than federal standards. This is information all according to Energy Star. If you could buy one of these air conditioners from Fujitsu, you'd might be very relieved to have your energy bills lowered.

Hello, I am trying to find out how well these multi-split systems cool in extreme heat...such as 100 degrees F outside. Contractors are giving me a lot of contradictory information. Is there a customer out there living somewhere hot like Arizona who can comment on this? Where I live in Canada we reached 100 degrees F last summer during three separate heat domes. So, I would really like to install a multi-split system. Thank you.

I live near San Diego, CA... I can tell you they're dependable in 100 degree - PLUS weather... For us, when the contractor showed up, as a retired industrial electrician when I was TOLD these units are super efficient and high performance, he knew he couldn't BS me...As they were intalled in my 2000 square foot home during a 🔥 Hot Summer back in 2018, I put my Amprobe ( Current reading meter ) on the unit... It was 105° outside....I saw 6 amps on my meter when I expected 15 amps, as the unit was keeping my living room ❄️COOL ( 68-70 Degrees ) on the inside .... During the hottest part ( August- September) of the summer here in Southern California I saw an INCREASE of $35.00 EACH month on my energy Bill with my units running.... 👈AGAIN during the 2 hottest months of the year.... I WAS PLEASED with their quiet, energy efficient cost to run.

I have 2 Fujitsus. Both run like a champ, but cleaning/maintenance costs are far too high - $500. Easily eats any energy savings achieved.

@@waterlec8718 I didn't hire them. I did it myself. But this is only an option for people who have the time to do so: research how to disassemble, clean, reassemble, and then do it.

I have Fujitsu, Mitsubishi has better videos online for owner cleaning of EVAP. Fujitsu is not designed for home user to clean and maintenance is going to bilk you badly.
