A big hello from Nigeria, Donal. although we don't have all the ingredients used in your videos, I still try my best to make the best use of what I've got. I love your cooking. So much. But this cookie recipe, I've got to try. Thank you for the wonderful tip of refrigerating the dough for about 30 minutes.

@masuganut2082
6 жыл бұрын
Qxox X baking powder has baking soda in it. They are not interchangeable. Baking powder gives a more cake like texture and baking soda gives a more chewy texture. Some recipes do call for both. So be careful. Also, a lot of the baking powders on the market today are double acting. The double acting means it’ll react to the liquid in an ingredient and then again by the heat of the oven. Baking soda however is single acting, it reacts to the liquid. That’s why people tend to use baking soda for quick breads. I really hope this helps you 🙂 oh and be sure to not add too much of either. Too much soda and your food will taste metallic. Too much powder and it’ll taste like soap! Good luck
