This is one of the easiest/cheapest ways to get a working zero for an IR laser device (provided your optic is zeroed at 25/50 yards). Doesn't require any shooting, you just need to be able to see your laser!
Once zeroed, it's essentially point of aim / point of impact out to 200 yards (+/- an inch or so) with a 50 yard converging elevation zero.... Hold overs past 200. Don't even worry about adjusting for windage. 25 yards works, but you'll have a lot more variance with your hold overs/unders at different distances, but if you only have a 25 yard range, you can make it work.
Alternatively, you can use the Baer Solutions target, which accomplishes this same thing at 25 yards (but you need a particular kind of laser). You can probably make your own target like his for our laser if you know your way around a ballistic calculator.

Lastly: check out these videos for other good IR laser zeros / information:
• Zeroing your Laser: Pa... : GREAT explanation of the different zeros and other laser information
• Infrared Aiming Laser ... : actually gives you a parallel zero in relation to the optic's line of sight NOT the bore (great concept, similar to this).
