The answer did surprise me! I have never really thought much about a scandi grind. It is hard to beat a Mora for the price. I am definitely interested in EDC, outdoor content, & a tour of your airgun range bag. Bring 'em on!

I’ve had the same epiphany. The set bevel assists sharpening dramatically . They cut the same throughout their working life. It’s one of the finest examples of form following function I have ever seen. More folding knives with scandi grinds need to be produced. Big fan here.👍 They’re, in my opinion, the best wood carvers too.

I found a sharp fillet knife works awesome boning out an animal. But for field use, a Scandi grind is the bomb.

Hi, I hope you're fine. Actually, I'm in the exact same mind blowing reaction towards scandi grind edges. I knew them for woodworking & their too plain look made me look at them like not very interesting....my mistake. Now I'm 59 years old & on a great shock of not knowing this grind before ! They perform on dry & fresh wood like a 50% hatchet capacity. These days I seek to know how they perform with meat & games because I suspect they can go further than just wood, so here now I see a solid first answer. Thanks ! :)

You lost me at "it gets borrowed". My FIL said he left his knife at home, I said I didn't bring a loaner. Awkward.

LOL, funny thing is, most of the hands here are young ladies tending horses and most are not in the habit of making sure they have an edge on them at all times. That being said, the younger generation of males don't either...
