What about the Landworks chipper/shredder shown in the main picture?? That was NEVER EVEN MENTIONED, and the whole reason I clicked the video. Clickbait clickbait, it baited me with an image to click on the video, and then like a sleazy car dealer, pulled the old bait and switch. Thanks for nothing.

@@nickyeager4904 that would me much appreciated! It looks pretty stout so long as it’s not over loaded. I have seen videos saying to sharpen the blades right out of the box because they’re like cutting with the edge of pencils, but I have no idea. Also, I’d recommend running this for 10-15 mins, then changing the oil. After that, maybe after the first 10 hours, change it again. After that, whenever it gets dark. It shouldn’t take a lot, and you should ALWAYS run straight 30w in air cooled four cycle outdoor power equipment, but a few quarts is cheap insurance for years and year’s of longevity, even with a Chinese engine. Make sure all of the bolts are retightened after the second oil change, I’m sure you can find torque specs online someplace. Lastly, make sure you wear good hearing protection (I recommend Howard Leight QB2 wrap around ear plugs, and some good safety glasses, Crews makes some good pairs. Anyways good luck with your chipper and keep me posted on how it goes for you! :)

@@theactualsalvagedrover All excellent advice, thank you! Just an FYI I canceled the one I purchased on Amazon about an hour after I put in the order, as I found it directly on the manufacturers website for 60 bucks less! It just shipped a few days ago it will be here on the 13th.

@@theactualsalvagedrover So I used the shredder and it works great! It tore up my 10 inch long pine needles that have been sitting in the compost bin for a year and now they are breaking down already just a couple weeks later. Awesome machine, just need to be careful as it could be dangerous, I used a piece of cardboard to push stuff down into the feeder since it didn't come with anything for that. Also its sprays debris everywhere, the bag it comes with isn't very useful but I found a cardboard box worked pretty well. All in all a great shredder for dry leaves and pine straw. At some points I was putting wet stuff in there and the motor was stopping as the exit shoot was getting jammed up. It was easy to fix though just unplugged it, cleared the obstruction and then plugged it back in an reset the motor. Definitely want to stick with dry brown stuff as green stuff like tall plants and vines are flexible and doesn't get cut well it just kind of wraps around the motor and jams it. I'm very happy with the purchase, good luck!

The best leaf shredder is your lawn mower moet short at the end of the season and leave the leaves mulch on it. It provides heat for the plant for Winter and also all those nutrients are still falling back out of those leaves and going right back into the ground when you remove those nutrients then you have to put on fertilizer, save yourself some money

People in the suburbs can mulch the leaves or rake them to the curb. You can't just leave them on the ground up in the forest. There's waaay too many leaves to mulch.

Can a machine like this be used as a Secondary Shredder, feeding it materials that cane from Larger Machines? In a "Continuous Feed approach", it might require at least Two of these, to keep up with the feed rate of larger capacity units, and the bigger machines output divided in half, for example!

The one thing that I am looking for and most are developers do not get . You put leaves in at a good pace, mulch that is small enough to not blow back into the grass at the other end, and you do not die of brown lung, a twig does not clog it and it handles wet to damp leaves WITHOUT CLOGGING! Do not care if it spits twigs out in a pile, would like it to have brakes and function on a hill, and would not want a shredder that could not have a reservoir of 1 bag 30-gallon size of leaves that allowed me the ability to go get more while it did its thing. why is this too hard for a company?
